My name is Christopher John Warwick and I was born and bred in Penwortham near Preston.

I am married to Sue and we have two boys.

I currently work at PWL Architects Ltd which is an architect’s practice that I set up in 1996 with two other colleagues. Below is an extract from the PWL website which gives a brief synopsis of what we do.

“PWL Architects Ltd was formed in 1996 by Peter Pearson Dip Arch DA (Manc) RIBA, Christopher J Warwick, and Paul Longton. They had all met while working for a practice in Lancashire prior to forming PWL Architects. Altrincham was chosen as the office location because the majority of clients are centered around the Manchester conurbation and there are good motorway links to the entire North West. The directors live in Cheshire and Preston enabling the company to service clients easily throughout the region.

The directors have experience of residential, industrial and commercial buildings, but the Company´s particular area of expertise lies in the provision of a high quality design service for the house-building industry. We offer a complete design service from inception through to completion, however we are happy to provide a partial service tailored to client's needs.

The company aims to provide a professional efficient and friendly service to clients. Each project is personally supervised by a director and we ensure close personal contact with clients throughout the project. As a practice we are fully committed to the use of Information Technology. We have invested heavily in CAD and other software programs to ensure that drawings and project documentation is of the highest quality.”

I have also set up another company called Holmeswood Developments Ltd which I use to market development opportunities to relevant developers. Currently I am marketing both residential and commercial schemes, some with and some subject to, planning permission on behalf of a number of clients throughout the North of England. I can advise on the potential uses of any land and introduce the land to the appropriate end user/developer with a view to maximising the value of the client’s opportunity. Beyond the introduction through PWL Architects I can then carry out any feasibility studies right through Planning and Building Regulation approval.

In my free time I like to spend time with my wife and family and my interests include cars, photography, personal computers (and in particular 1^st person shooters lol). I know I am too old for computers games but I can give some of these young ones a run for their money!........my kids must be so proud.....NOT!
